Pros
This asset is widely praised for being a high-quality, free, and highly customizable particle system that serves as an excellent plug-and-play solution for developers needing quick visual effects. Users appreciate the ease of integration, the ability to tweak parameters like color and smoke density, and the overall aesthetic appeal which punches well above its price point for prototypes and indie projects.
It is a solid, time-saving freebie for rapid prototyping, but expect to spend time manually fixing shader compatibility issues if you are working in URP or HDRP.
Cons
The primary drawback is the inconsistent and often frustrating support for modern rendering pipelines like URP and HDRP, frequently resulting in 'pink' materials that require manual shader conversion or material adjustments. Some users find the base shaders too simplistic for advanced needs, and the lack of comprehensive, built-in documentation for pipeline compatibility leads to recurring setup hurdles for less experienced developers.
